V. My Impressions
A. Chandragupta seemed vicious to me because the way he ruled was very harsh, and "used force whenever necessary".
B. Chandragupta also seemed the tiniest bit like a coward. "He was deathly afraid of enemies.
C. And although Chandragupta wasn't that kind, the fact that he made sure that every farmer had water for their crops was a pretty nice thing to do.
D. Lastly, I think that Chandragupta is mysterious because towards the end of his life, tradition says that he became an ascetic, which seems like an unusual thing to do, in my opinion.
